Advancing Native American Entrepreneurship Through Venture Capital Is Focus Of March 4 CDVCA Session

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 1, 2004) - The role of venture capital in boosting economic development and job creation in Indian Country will be the topic of a panel discussion featuring both investors in Indian Country and Native American entrepreneurs at the annual Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA) Conference at 10:15 a.m., Thursday, March 4. The event takes place at the Westin New York, New York City.

Joseph L. Falkson, managing general partner of Native American Capital, LP (NAC), a new social venture capital fund that makes equity investments in promising new and developing high growth businesses in Native American and Alaska Native communities, will moderate the discussion. Speakers are listed below.
